What We Do

Many members enjoy garden tours, planning and participating in flower shows, attending state, regional, and national conventions, as well as participapting in projects in local communities.  Arkansas Federation of Garden Clubs, Inc. is proud to be a member of National Garden Clubs, Inc., and the South Central Region.  NGC and AFGC provide education, resources, and opportunities for its members to promote the love or gardening, floral design,  and civic and environmental responsibility.  

Members study many topics to help with their gardening.  Among them are:

• Landscaping
• Pruning trees and shrubs
• Container gardening
• Conserving water
• Drought tolerant plants
• Recycling
• Protecting the environment

HORTICULTURE ENTRIES needed for our Flower Show, Feb. 24-26.  Call or e-mail Phyllis Byrum.  The deadline to register has been extended.  We need your help.  Horticulture entries are open to family, friends, and neighbors, (not necessary to be a garden club member).  All help will be appreciated.
