Arkansas garden clubs make a difference in the lives of individuals and in the communities of this state. Activities include friendly monthly meetings to share knowledge of gardening, landscaping, designing flowers, and participating in flower shows. Garden clubs are for men and women of all ages. Some clubs meet during the day and others in the evening to accommodate those who work. Finding a club convenient to you is very easy. This site will help in answering many of your questions about garden clubs.

What We Do

Many members enjoy garden tours, planning and participating in flower shows, attending state, regional, and national conventions, as well as participapting in projects in local communities. Arkansas Federation of Garden Clubs, Inc. is proud to be a member of National Garden Clubs, Inc., and the South Central Region. NGC and AFGC provide education, resources, and opportunities for its members to promote the love or gardening, floral design, and civic and environmental responsibility.

Members study many topics to help with their gardening. Among them are:

Pruning trees and shrubs
Container gardening
Conserving water
Drought tolerant plants
Recycling
Protecting the environment
